Please Read "dog Food Secrets!"

Why you wonder?

It's all about the health and safety of your dog and what to give your dog to eat!

Well, the scary part is that you can't know or learn from reading the text on the container if your brand of dog food is god or bad!

The program “Dog Food Secrets” is a very necessary tool for you as a dog owner. By reading this book you are going to learn some disturbing facts about the dog food industry.

Consensus within the core of leading veterinary doctors and dog care experts are that most dog food brands just go from bad to very bad for your dog! The conclusion is that up to 87% of dogs nutritioned by commercially available dog food dies prematurely!

You didn't know that, did you?

That’s why you have to read the “Dog Food Secrets”!

You will learn what’s behind the different quality markings of food. Names like “premium”, “super-premium” and “ultra-premium” or why not the very tempting “gourmet”. If you guessed that in the real world these names are without any substantial meaning what so ever - you were completely right!

Now you also know that!
-
Would you have guessed that one ingredient in commercial dog food might be the said remains of other once loved family pets like cats and dogs? Those are delivered from some veterinary institutions. Not only that there are also strong indications about other sources of raw material like dead animals from road accidents, decaying carcasses from zoo and animal control.

This isn't just a mental problem to overcome for us as pet-owners but a very real medical problem as well. Animals from institutions are put to sleep by the use of barbiturates like Sodium Pentobarbital. This drug doesn't lose the power in the processing and as a result will, together with other drugs used in veterinary practice like hormones, anti-cancer drugs and pain killers, act upon our pets eating the contaminated food! Can anyone tell how this mixture acts upon them? Of course not!

I guess you didn't know that either!

How about contamination from fecal matters in the raw materials in the food processing industry? Do you really believe that one take the time and eliminate such a material?

No way!

This can be one reason for the use of preservatives sprayed all over the bulk of material. Preservatives aren’t something you want to find in the food for your pet. For that reason you scan the text for information about preservatives in the declaration of content and probably choose brands declaring: no preservatives added!
Excellent of course!

The problem is that the end-manufacturer doesn’t have to declare what’s added by the rendering plants in the process presiding delivery to manufacturer of the finished product.
-
With regards to the manufactories handling of the raw materials so far do you really believe that they will be induced to eliminate objects like plastic bags, collars, ID tags et cetera?

Most probably not and the only objects removed would be parts hard and big enough to risk damaging the production equipments!

With regards to the above wouldn’t it be good to know if there are brands of dog food that are safer than others?

Of course it would!

And there you are! The book “Dog Food Secrets” will help you to learn how to understand the small text hidden on the label and see and decipher the cryptic writing. The formulation in words can be rather clever, and you have to be able to se beyond that and really understand the truth!

Dog Training - Starting with the Owner then the Dog

By : Sarah Miller

Since you are reading this article I will assume that you have pets and have some sort of problem. There are many problems that you may encounter with your pet that you may find hard to deal with and that you might not know why or where they came from.

For example, I have encountered many owners with pets that didn’t know what to do. One such owner has a pet that has a phobia of cars. This phobia was so terrible that every time he would hear or see a car he would begin frantically spinning and running after them. That is something scary when you are alone with your pet and you can’t seem to get a handle on this problem.

In a basic sense your pet reacts just the same as you react but with different physical responses. He senses how and what you feel and those anxieties manifest themselves in different ways based on the different personalities of people’s pets. Sometimes this is hard to understand but I find it to be 100% true. For example, I have a personal friend that asked me to try and help one of her friends deal with her pet that will start to bark insanely at anyone that even thinks about setting foot in her home. His barking isn’t a bark that came from a dog trying to protect his master or his home. This was the bark of a scared dog that fed of the insecurities of his owner. The best thing about training animals is the fact that very little of it involves training the dog and most of it involves training the owners.

Dogs feed off of every emotion that you could possibly feel. You might not realize this but they can feel everything you feel and it affects them. This woman, let’s call her Susan, was insecure about letting people into her home and that only fed and nurtured her pets insecure behavior. By showing her that she needed to be firm yet gentle with her pet, Susan began to change her behavior. She became more secure with herself and more secure with her pet. That in itself showed with his behavior. When he becomes unstable, she checks him and snaps him into reality. That keeps him in check and shows him that she is the leader and he needs to follow and obey her commands.

Just by training and showing a person how to act cool and collected with their pet, you are able to retrain a pet that has otherwise become unstable. It matters more that you put out a calm and positive energy and that will go a long way to show your pet that you are the leader of his pack.

No More Tainted Pet Food: Using Homemade Dog Food Recipes For A ...

There are many places to find dog food recipes if you are considering making your pet's food. There are also important points to think about when you make their food like sticking to the recipe, talking to a veterinarian, and paying attention to how your dog reacts to the food.

Two common places to find dog food recipes are on the Internet and through your local veterinarian. The Internet is not always trustworthy though. You cannot be sure that someone who posted their own idea for a dog food recipe is the right meal for your dog. Some of the factors might include the type of dog that they have and the types of foods in the recipe. If the dog food recipes are coming from a credible place on the internet like an animal shelter, a veterinarian, or some other place you can trust then you most likely are safe to use the recipe.

The best place to find dog food recipes is through your local veterinarian. Your vet already knows your dog best. He or she knows their digestive tract and what kinds of foods you can start your pet off with and how you can transition your animal from traditional dog food to homemade food. Many veterinarians already have recipes they can give to you so you can go home and make your pets food. Working with your vet ensures the health of your animal.

Switching your dog over to homemade dog food is a big transition. Your animal may not take the food change very well at first. For instance, your dog may not seem as if they like it or they might not be eating as much. You will notice a change in their stools. Your animal may vomit for a couple of days because their digestive tract is not used to healthy food. Be sure during the transition your dog is getting plenty of water. One thing that might be recommended is that you slowly break your dog into the new dog food rather than do a total change at once.

When you make homemade dog food, even the vet will tell you not to change the recipe. You might think you are being creative or making your pet happy by adding bacon grease to the mixture, don't. You also should not substitute foods within a dog food recipe. Stick to the recipe. If the recipes are too expensive for you then you might not be able to afford feeding your dog homemade foods. Many people have made their animals very sick by not properly cooking the foods to save time or substituting foods to save money. For your dog's health, stick to the recipes.

Dog food recipes are fantastic when you find them from the right sources. You should only trust your veterinarian or a reliable source for a recipe and you should follow it exactly. The purpose of making homemade dog food is for your dog's health. So you should follow the recipes and pay attention to how your pet responds.
